Prayer Guide: June 17, 2018 – Daniel 9:20-27
Posted By: Nate Magloughlin
In Daniel 9:20-27, God sends Gabriel to Daniel in response to Daniel’s prayer. Gabriel first assures Daniel that God loves him and has heard his prayer, and then through a prophetic word, explains how God will ultimate deal with the exile of his people due to their sin. While the specifics of this passage may be confusing and difficult to understand, ultimately, God is assuring us of His victory in the end. Please join with us in prayer as we seek the Lord and His grace.
Pastor Nate
Prayer Guide: June 17, 2018 – Daniel 9:20-27
1. Give thanks to God that He hears our prayers based on the finished work of Jesus Christ.
2. Ask God for grace to seek Him more passionately and follow Him more fully.
3. Pray for contentment in God’s plan even when you don’t fully understand it.
4. Ask God to give you spiritual wisdom to understand His Word.
5. Confess to God the times when you live in spiritual arrogance and fail to exhibit a humble spirit.
6. Plead with God to do His work of salvation and sanctification amongst us.

Celebrate Missions Week:
This Sunday, we kick off Celebrate Missions week. As a church, we want to celebrate what God has done through TBC missions this summer, and we want to be intentional about living on mission every day in Amarillo. Remember, we are asking every member to invite at least one friend, co-worker, neighbor, or family member to join us for worship this Sunday. It will be a great chance to invite unbelievers to hear the good news of the gospel.

- Daily blog stories from mission trips and TBC members living on mission every day.

Thirst Revival Conference:
During this 4-day thirst conference, a team of 20 college students and two host/revivalists families will serve our church through comprehensive and intentional children, youth, and adult ministries. The Thirst Revival Conference aims to help believers renew their passion for Christ, by exposing one of the main causes of dryness in Christians' lives today-substitution. Substitution happens when believers start looking for joy and fulfillment in someone or something other than Christ.
The Thirst Revival Conference is happening October 13-16. Please make plans to attend and keep looking for full updates on time and schedule.
Pray With Us:
Pray that our small groups would continue to be places of authentic community and that our group members would apply God's word to their lives because of their time in their group.
Pray for the Women's Retreat to be a time of refreshment, encouragement, and challenge to the women of TBC.
Pray for guest to connect quickly and plug into a Sunday morning Bible study class.

Missions Spotlight
The Missions Budget for Trinity Baptist Church includes monetary support for approximately 20 local ministries. Over the next few weeks, you will see a brief description of one ministry per update. This description will include contact information for the ministry, should you find yourself wanting to find out how to volunteer with the ministry or just know more information.
The Missions Spotlight this week is on our team of five TBC members going to Taiwan. This team will lead a retreat designed to disciple new believers in the basics of the Christian faith. The team will work with young adults who have been attending Taichung Baptist Church and Taichung International Fellowship or have been a part of our summer English camps.
Please pray for this team as they seek to proclaim Christ and disciple those who claim Christ, all for the glory of Christ. The team leaves Friday morning and will return the following Saturday.
Prayer Guide for Sunday, January 26, 2020
Two themes are prevalent in Matthew 14:22-33 - the account of Jesus’ walking on the water. First, this text invites us to see Jesus for who He is – the God-Man. Jesus fulfills the OT imagery of the One who has power over the sea; exercises power over nature as He walks on the water; and reveals Himself to His disciples as the I Am. Not only does this text invite us to see Jesus for who He is, it invites us to see our great need to stay focused on and connected to Jesus. The life of a follower of Christ is filled with ups and downs. Our only hope is God’s great grace! Please pray with us this week. ~Pastor Nate
Prayer Guide: January 26, 2020 – Matthew 14:22-33
1. Take a few moments to thank God for His gracious provision in your life. He is the God who provides for our all our needs!
2. Ask God to help you listen to and apply His Word in life. Ask Him to increase your passion for reading, meditating on, and memorizing Scripture.
3. Thank God for the things in life that He sends our way that remind us that we are dependent creatures who regularly need His refreshing grace.
4. Confess to God your tendency to neglect seeking Him in prayer. Ask Him to increase your desire for communion with Him.
5. Pray for grace to look to Jesus and to look for Jesus throughout the various circumstances that we face in life.
6. Ask God to protect and increase the unity of Trinity Baptist Church.
7. Thank God for the many people who have visited our church for the first time in the past several weeks. Pray that those considering membership would embrace our mission to proclaim Christ and make disciples.
8. Pray that God would call men, women, boys, and girls to Himself through the witness of the members of Trinity Baptist Church. Ask God for the privilege of seeing many people saved and baptized in the coming months.
