MISSION TRIPS
The TBC Missions Ministry will focus on proclaiming Christ and making disciples who are equipped and encouraged to live and love like Jesus.
Our goal is to reach our city, state, nation and the world with the gospel. Every year we provide opportunities for the people of TBC to be on mission in their daily lives and go on mission through specific mission trips. In the summer of 2026, we have teams traveling to:
Thailand Mission Team: A team of seven volunteers is traveling to Northern Thailand to work with a team hosting an English Camp in a local school.
Taiwan Mission Team: A team of eight volunteers is going to Taichung to participate in an English camp with university students.
Peru Mission Team: A team of fifteen volunteers is going to Bagua to lead a conference for national pastors, leaders and their families.
We ask members of TBC to participate in these efforts either through praying for, giving to, and/or going with one of these teams.
We will have a “Missions Report Night” service on a Sunday night in August, to hear from these teams about their ministry experiences.

MISSIONS GIVING
This year's TBC goal during our March for Missions campaign is $175,000. The monies we raise during this season will go directly to the three major missions endeavors Southern Baptists focus on each year; Lottie Moon, Annie Armstrong and Mary Hill Davis. Our church will participate in our annual in-gathering for missions in December each year. However, monies can be donated to our annual March for Missions through the end of January following the December emphasis. Contributions can also be made routinely throughout the calendar year.

MISSIONS PARTNERS
As a church, we also strive to support and send full time missionaries into the field. As a church, we support the work of the Southern Baptist Cooperative Program with 9% of our undesignated offerings. We also support the work of our local Amarillo Baptist Association with 0.25% of our undesignated offerings.
We serve and/or support over thirty local, state, national, and international mission efforts. From within our body, God has raised up specific individuals to go to the nations with the gospel. We specifically support:
Tom & Susan Bohnert - Missionaries from our church serving in Mainland Southeast Asia.
Todd & Crista Blackhurst - Missionaries from our church serving in Taiwan.
Brad and Rachel Greco - Missionaries with Wycliffe Bible Translators.
Several "Friends of TBC" serving among unreached peoples is sensitive areas around the world.
Brendon Scoggin - Lead Pastor at FBC Provo, UT
