Prayer Guide for Sunday, March 2

1. Praise the God who has graciously made you righteous before Him through no merit of your own.
2. Ask God to help you to rest more fully in Jesus’ finished work. Pray that your confidence in Christ will lead to joyful submission to the ways of the Lord.
3. Confess to God any tendency to take credit for your spiritual standing. Ask the Holy Spirit for humility that leads to worship.
4. Ask God to give you a greater desire for Jesus’s return. Pray for a holy discontent with the status quo and a pervasive desire for God’s Kingdom to come in full.
5. Pray that God would grow our church both numerically and spiritually.
6. Thank God for those who use their musical gifts to help lead us in singing and worship. Pray that God would raise up more volunteers for our various music ministry endeavors.
